PR-Racing ry works actively in the rally. We participate in many rallies and in the summer e.g. In organizing the HYAcenter Rally.

 

We are looking for new faces to join the company. If you don’t want to race a car, become an official or security official and there’s always a need for coffee makers and sausage makers too.

International Test Rally Again in July

PR-Racing is once again organizing its own rally competition this coming summer, with the concept of providing a solid test rally for the Jyväskylä WRC Rally. The HYAcenter Rally will be held on Saturday, July 26th. This particular weekend was chosen as it falls between the Estonian and Finnish WRC rallies.

Competitors are expected to arrive from many different countries. Last summer, 12 different nationalities were represented in the competition.

The central hub for the HYAcenter Rally, just like last summer’s event, will be Ideapark in Lempäälä.

The shopping center offers excellent facilities for competitors and rally fans alike. The rally’s start and finish lines, as well as the centralized service area, are located within the Ideapark area.

PR-Racing’s rally routes have always received praise, and this summer’s rally stages certainly won’t disappoint. The route, consisting of six special stages and approximately 70 competitive kilometers, runs through the areas of Valkeakoski, Pälkäne, and Lempäälä. It includes many great sections that were once used in the Finnish WRC Rally in past decades.

HYAcenter Rally media info and accreditation

HYAcenter Rally media info and accreditation

PR-Racing’s traditional rally event HYAcenter Rally will be held on Saturday, July 26. July. On Friday the competitors will recce the route after which there will be a test stage.

Six special stages and ca. 70 SS kilometers route will run around Valkeakoski, Kangasala, Pälkäne and Lempäälä area. There are some great gravel road that were used in the WRC Rally Finland in past decades.

Like last summer’s event, the Ideapark Lempäälä will be the Rally HQ for the HYAcenter Rally. The shopping center offers great facilities for competitors and rally fans. The rally start and finish area and a service park are located in the Ideapark area.

Chairman’s column

Hello members!

The new year 2024 has already begun, when the first membership magazine of the year reaches the membership. We wish all members a happy and successful year.

Our club organized a successful test rally in July before the Finnish World Rally Championship. We got a lot of international visibility in the media for our own rally, and in addition to this, the city of Tampere and the surrounding municipalities also got visibility. Thousands of rally tourists took advantage of the services offered by the business world.

Organizing the rally requires more and more card-based marshals, and the club is organizing marshal training in order to get more marshals to join the club.

In the coming season, we have a few replacement special tests to take care of, the first of which is the HRT rally in Vilppula on February 24, 2024. In August, PR-Racing also has to take care of the Finnish World Rally Championship special stage. As usual, we organize our own test rally a week before the Finnish World Rally Championship, just like in 2023.

As a club, we try to organize all kinds of activities for all members. We have bought a digital driving simulator, which allows you to test car sports at an affordable price.

Changes have been made to the club’s stables (Mestarintie 1, Ylöjärvi) and there are now large gathering spaces for the club’s use. Welcome to get to know the renovated stable space in connection with the club evenings. A storage container has been acquired for the club, e.g. for storing special test materials.
